Thinking about the future

Gary and I have often toyed with the idea of moving to New Zealand, my homeland.  I dont know if this will ever really happen.  The Northwest is such a terrific place, and we have a great life here with a beautiful family and a lovely home...but every so often thoughts of home creep in.  I have no idea how we would support ourself in a country locale, other than some casual thoughts, like buying this place and turning it into a retreat:

or semi retiring to this place just to look at mountians

To delight your day

I cant wait for there to be snow in the city so I can follow Mr Piggy and sled.  Love the snow, and thank you for posting this and bringing a smile to my face http://www.creaturecomfortsblog.com/.

Decoration

I just started work 5 minutes ago but already...I want to leave.  This is 100% based on the following picture:

Christmas Tree on a Toy Car

I know you know where I am coming from, and if you were my boss you would let me have the rest of the day off....to go tie faux trees ontop of the vintage cars I have.  Hands down, this is the MOST adorable Christmas decor addition that will be in the castle this year.  Thank you http://makingitlovely.com/

Add to my list of possible vacays

I had no idea, (though I had dreamed it) that you can STAY in a temple.  Overnight.  And have a temple life experience.  Um, heck yes - sign us up

My mindset

...this has been my mindset and my yearning for the last 6 months or so.  Maybe for a holiday - maybe for ever.  Of course, I would have to encourage my love to accompany me.  He's my air so he would need to come with me.

Annual Christmas Party

We had our annual Christmas Party this past Saturday.

It was lovely, but as I was floating off to sleep in the wee hours on Sunday morning, I really was struck with a true honest knowledge of how lucky I am.  Gary and I are so fortunate to know so many great beings and it sincerely was one of those nights that really illustrated this to me.

I really felt loved by our buds.  It is with gratitude I give so much thanks and love to you all for being a part of my life and making it so rich and full.  Its not something I take for granted.

Dress Code

I think you know my feelings on winter dear one.  Its the best in my opinion, and a very underrated season - most people dont enjoy the grey, the wet, the snow, the ice.  My own personal feeling towards all this is squeeeeeeee.  Couple my amore of the season with the news received on Friday of last week that after years of a strict dress code at my work place....we can now (*gasp*) wear fleece, and jeans, and sweaters and scarves......oh JOY.  Today I am writing to you in a sweater and jeans, but I was dumb, I totally should have gone with fleece and ugg boots.  Believe me when I say - its happening tomorrow.

Thanks company.  I heart your decision to get modern.
